City Council Committee Meeting Minutes Schleswig City Council June 19, 2024 9:00 o’clock a.m. Schleswig City Hall Open meeting Council members present; Rory Degen, Paul Outhouse, Troy Kluender, Tim Bubke arriving at 9:20 a.m. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Outhouse and seconded by Troy Kluender. Motion carried. No visitors or employees were present Urban Renewal/TIF projects Motion was made to identify TIF Revenue property as the FAC expansion, Dollar General, and the new home builds at 401 Cedar Street, 103 Southern Heights Circle, and 212 Hickory Street by Outhouse and seconded by Degen. Motion carried. Motion was made by Kluender to fid Blight the need of our first TIF project. Blight footprint will be the entire city limits. Seconded by Outhouse. Motion Carried. Motion was made by Degen that the first TIF project would be to address water, sewer and storm drainage issues on Hickory Street. Motion seconded by Bubke. Motion carried. There was discussion of a Splash Pad project. Committee will seek more information. No action made. Motion to adjourn was made by Kluender. Seconded by Degen. Motion carried.
