City of Mapleton Minutes - Regular Council Meeting September 11, 2024 The regular meeting of the city council was scheduled for September 11, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Streck, Benita Uhl, Zach Schrader, Jacob Zawodny and Joe Hogan. Absent: Abby Koenigs. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Jacob Zawodny, second by Zach Schrader to approve minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Jacob Zawodny, second by Joe Hogan to approve the order of the agenda with the addition of Pay Request #2 to Ten Point Construction and Otter Creek Hydroseeding for the street and storm water projects. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Zach Schrader, second by Jacob Zawodny to set milling price at $15.00 per ton. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Jacob Zawodny to advertise farm leases as has been done in the past. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Zachary Schrader to Resolution 2024-8 Adoption of Approved 5-year Airport Capital Improvement Program and Long-Range Needs Assessment. Ayes: Jacob Zawodny, Zach Schrader, Joe Hogan and Benita Uhl. Absent: Abby Koenigs. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Zach Schrader to approve payment of the bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Zach Schrader to adjourn the meeting. Ayes: All.
